by Guang-Shan Expressway of Ke-Tang Town, Hai-Feng County
of Guang-Dong province, and has a floor space of 2480 square
meters. The center could be easily accessed by various means

The town of Ke-Tang is located in Hai-Feng County of south
eastern Guang-Dong province, about 290 kilometers from the
city of Guang-Zhou, 197 kilometers from Shen-Zhen and 180
kilometers from Shan-Tou. The town is only 1.5 to 2.5 hours
away by direct bus service from the airports and train stations
of the 3 major metropolitan areas, hence easy access by
various means of transportation. The town's jurisdiction
is under Shan-Wei city of Hai-Feng County, it is situated
in the center of Shan-Wei city, Lu-Feng city and Hai-Feng
County with an average of 10 kilometers to any of the there
surrounding places.
Ke-Tang in conjunction with adjacent vicinities boasts
a total of more than 1,000 wholesalers and processing factories
of rough stones in various scales. The total annual capacity
of semi-precious gemstones processed exceeds 50,000 tons;
the town has become the perennial semi-precious processing
center of China and it is also known as the capital for
processing crystal accessories around the world. There is
practically a processing facility for any type of gemstone
available in the global market, for example, there are more
than 50 different specimens of natural crystal and not to
mention the countless types of quartz and jade that are
available. Today, Ke-Tang's production crystal accessories
accounts for 71% of world’s total capacity, and they are
mostly exported to United States, Italy, Australia, Russia,
India and Middle East. Furthermore, the town is home to
a state-of-the-art jewelry market for the trading of rough
stones of semi-precious stones like crystal, tourmaline
and emerald; it is a place for exhibiting finished products
as well, and the selections available is simply breathtaking.
The market is located at the intersection of National Route
324 (Guang-Shan Expressway) and Ke-Shan Expressway (from
Ke-Tang town to Shan-Wei city), and occupies a total space
of 30,000 square meters.
